Training objectives To present a general overview of ECAP program and EU environmental policies for SMEs and benefits of its implementation; To offer a general introduction on EU financial support for SMEs for investments in environmental protection and ways of integration among several financial instruments; To show the new ECAP website and how to navigate it; To promote an increasing involvement and responsibility acceptance by intermediary organisations to help micro and smaller businesses in their daily activity to comply with environmental legislation; To reflect upon how environmental experts by intermediary organisations can successfully approach and interact with SMES to implement environmental legislation; To support the building or strengthening of a network at local level of environmental experts in business support organisations (Business associations, Chamber of Commerce, Euro Info Centres, and sectoral, or district organisations).
